My latest project is a fictional radio station called WFCE in the fictional town of Moxey Bluff Georgia, where I do a fictional show called Film Chat Radio, where we always catch the late show! I’ve done four of these but this is the one where I finally was able to improvise the whole thing, so I’ve made a bit of a breakthrough and I’m ready to share here.

I’m combining real film analysis with fictional listener emails that are turning into a bit of a supernatural soap opera. This episode is on the 1981 Lucio Fulci film The Beyond, specifically examining the scene in which the mysterious Emily is attacked by her loyal dog. Although I re-examined this old favorite movie to pacify one of my “listeners,” I actually realized there’s a surprising parallel between Emily’s scene and a similar scene in a different Italian horror movie!
